Description
Beyond the Rectangle (BYND RECT) I is a course where students will form teams and learn how to research, design, make, test and present innovative concepts and executions for digital or physical concepts as we know them through challenges and opportunities that will prepare students to become entrepreneurs or seek employment in a wide range of jobs within the design industry.
Students will cover how to efficiently create impactful products, services and experiences and will discuss and carry out processes from best-in-class innovation and design thinking models and other creative paradigms of our time.
The course offers students two opportunities to present their projects to a panel of industry practitioners and include lectures from the professor; collaborative discussions, exercises and workshops as well as presentations to the cohort and to panels of industry practitioners.
